Gambling With an Edge - guest Don Johnson

Our guest this week is Don Johnson.  At his day job Don works at Computer Assisted Wagering for one of the largest horse bettors in the world.  As a sideline he won $15 million playing blackjack in Atlantic City with the help of a 20% rebate on his losses.  Bob and I also discuss the importance of scouting both games and promotions.

The MOST Important question was never asked. How did he win $5 million? Flat bet? Progression? Counting? Another AP method? Dumb Luck?

DeMango, he flat bet 100k per hand. He just happened to have a good run of luck. The idea being to take a big swing and if he won he would walk, and if he lost he would get rebated 20%.
